NOTICE

INTENTION TO MAKE BY-LAWS

Pursuant to powers conferred by section 201 and 203 of the Local Government act Cap 265 Laws of Kenya and by any other enabling statutes there to the County Council of Nakuru intends to make the following by-laws for the purposes of controlling, regulating, prohibiting compelling the doing of things for which it is empowered to by Act and any other registration.

1.    The Local Government (Agricultural Produce Cess) Adoptive By-Laws Order 2009.

2.    The County Council of Nakuru (Conservancy) by-Laws 2009.

3.    The County Council of Nakuru (Commercial and Private Schools) By-Laws.

4.    The County Council of Nakuru (Bicycle and Motor Cycle Taxis By-Laws.

5.    The County Council of Nakuru (Quarrying) By-Laws 2009.

6.    The County Council of Nakuru (Sand Harvesting) By-Laws 2009.

7.    The County Council of Nakuru (Stock Auction and Sales) By-Laws 2009.

8    The County Council of Nakuru (Hides and skin Transport) By-Laws 2009.

9.    The County Council of Nakuru (Second-Hand Goods) By-Laws 2009.

Members of the Public are advised that it is important to participate in the making of By-laws for mutual benefit and application.  It is for this reason that copies of the draft By-Laws have been availed for inspection in the Clerks office during working days on request free of charge.  Those who would wish to make copies will do at their cost

The Council further informs the Public that the objections and/or compliments arising from the intended By-Laws must be lodged in writing to the Clerk within 14 days from the date of publication of this notice.
